Between the chain stores, Dordt is full of shops with a story of their own: family businesses that have been around for almost a century, workshops where you can watch the maker at work, and shops where you always find something you were not looking for. These are our favourites.
Vreeken’s Zaden
A family business since 1926, specialising in seeds, bulbs and tubers. If you grow your own vegetables, you will be amazed: they stock around 350 tomato varieties alone, plus hundreds of kinds of peppers and potatoes.
