Parking in Dordrecht

Coming to Dordt by car? The old town centre is largely car-free, so the easiest option is a parking garage on the edge of the centre. From there it is a short walk to the harbours and the Voorstraat. Below you will find the garages and car parks at a glance.

Parking garages in and around the centre

  • Spuihaven (Spuiboulevard) · 520 spaces · approx. € 2.60 per hour, maximum € 3 in the evening. Directions
  • Achterom (Achterom) · 370 spaces · approx. € 3.40 per hour, the most central but also the most expensive. Directions
  • Q-Park Drievriendenhof (Korte Kolfstraat 235) · 400 spaces · approx. € 2.50 per hour, maximum € 20 per day. Directions
  • Energiehuis (Lijnbaan) · 325 spaces · approx. € 2.10 per hour, maximum € 3 in the evening and during the day at weekends. Directions
  • Riedijkshaven (Noorderstraat) · 46 spaces · approx. € 2.10 per hour, maximum € 3 in the evening, small so it fills up quickly. Directions
  • Q-Park Visstraat: temporarily closed according to the tourist office. Check before you drive there.

Budget parking

  • Weekend tip: at the Energiehuis garage you pay a maximum of € 3 during the day on Saturdays and Sundays, and every evening (18:00-06:00).
  • Weeskinderendijk car park: an affordable car park on the edge of the centre, with spaces for campervans too. Directions

Good to know

  • In the municipal garages (Spuihaven, Achterom, Energiehuis and Riedijkshaven) you pay per minute, by debit or credit card only. They are open 24 hours a day.
  • The maximum vehicle height in the garages is about 2 metres.
  • Street parking in the centre is expensive: in the main shopping area you will quickly pay the day rate of almost € 40. A garage is nearly always cheaper.
  • Follow the parking signs in town: they show how many spaces are free.
  • During big events such as Dordt in Stoom or Big Rivers, the train is often the smartest choice. See getting here.

The rates are a guide (checked in October 2026) and may change. The amount on the payment machine is what counts. Up-to-date information is available from the municipality of Dordrecht (in Dutch).
