Getting here

Dordrecht is in the middle of the Randstad and easy to reach. By train, you are in the old town within a few minutes’ walk.

By train

Dordrecht station is on the edge of the city centre. From here it is about a ten-minute walk to the harbours. There are direct trains from Rotterdam, The Hague, Breda and Roosendaal, among others. Staying in the south of the city? Then Dordrecht Zuid station is handy.

Coming from abroad?

Coming from Belgium, Germany or further afield? Book your international train journey to the Netherlands via NS International.

By waterbus

From Rotterdam, the Waterbus takes you straight to Dordrecht. A trip that is an outing in itself, with views of the harbours and the river.

By car

The city centre is largely car-free. Park in one of the car parks on the edge of the centre and walk the last stretch. During big events, the train is often the smartest choice. You will find all parking garages, rates and tips on our parking in Dordrecht page.

By bike

Dordrecht is a real cycling city and the starting point for beautiful routes through the Biesbosch and along the rivers.
